A Warm Welcome awaits you:
On behalf of the membership of Friendship Baptist Church, we’d like to extend an invitation for you to visit. We believe that you will find Friendship Baptist to be a caring, welcoming fellowship of believers and that you will immediately feel at home. If you currently reside or are moving into the area, we would be honored to make your acquaintance. If you are looking for a church family, we’d welcome the opportunity to get to know you better and to meet your spiritual needs.
Bible-Believing:
Friendship Baptist Church is a Bible-believing congregation that embraces the opportunity to teach and preach God’s Word. Established in 2005, Friendship Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and we actively participate in the programs of the SBC as well as the Baptist State Conventions of Pennsylvania/S. Jersey and the Keystone Association of Central Pennsylvania. At Friendship Baptist, the Bible is proclaimed as the infallible Word of God. We believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and we believe God to be personal, concerned and responsive.
Active Fellowship:
Friendship Baptist Church is an active fellowship that has programs for all ages, ranging from infants to senior adults. We hold a Sunday morning service that includes Sunday School followed by a music-filled Worship Service. Throughout the week, we open our doors to offer a Children’s Awana program and an Adult Bible Study and Prayer Service. Both are an active outreach to both our church family and the community at large. There also is a scheduled time for weekly visitations in order to more directly minister to the immediate needs of our church family and in which to make personal outreach to the community. Friendship Baptist holds active Bible study programs for men and women, and monthly Senior Adult activities. Our services feature a blend of contemporary music and old-time hymns, a projection screen and a growing music ministry. Our Children’s Awana program provides a fun forum in which to teach children about the love of God and is a perennial favorite for church families and newcomers alike.
Our Mission:
· To lead all who worship with us to turn their hearts and minds toward our Lord and Savior and to educate using God’s Word so that hearts may be transformed with its truth.
· To share the good news of the Gospel and to support foreign, home and local mission efforts through prayer, finances and education. To foster a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior and to actively introduce Him to others.
